Don't be lazy

If you are going to a job fair take the time to research who will be there. The more you know about a company and the types of positions they hire for, the better you will come across to the employer. It's NOT that hard guys — just look at the list of companies attending the job fair and read what's on their websites. If you don't have time to research every company, pick like 5-10 of your favorites you want to work for and research those. DON'T be lazy! DO your research if you want to impress.

Love it! I wonder if there's a job fair coming to Philadelphia.

I’m here to provide encouragement and wisdom that has elevated me.

Great point, it never fails, every time I've showed up at a job fair I see people storming out saying "this was a waste of time". If they took your advice and researched the attending companies they could of saved time and resources.

I agree with you George, thanks for posting this. It's so important to come to the job fair with your research ready and set to go! Employers will expect you to know things about their company and when you do you are already ahead of the game. : )

I am sure employers get aggravated when people don't know much about them. Like George said don't be lazy and spend the time doing a little googling.
