At one time, I was planning to retire within 5 years. I had another business at the same time that would have taken that long to mature and that I could have sold for a profit. I was in my late fifties. I got fired for being too old! I got another job, at a smaller company. Things were going along pretty well, untill the owner bought me an airplane ticket and found out how old I was. He couldn't believe I was that old! My supervisor, suddenly, no longer needed me! Two cases of age discrimination!
