I am also looking. They want current work and a porfolio. I've been told to do a artistic resume and cover letter. Make up business cards with a similar style. Mail it with a USB full of your portfolios items. Have a Web site up and running with up to date information add more of your work. Put your site address on everything . Use your imagination be creative and stand out. You are suppose to stand out give it a try. God bless

My father used to be an engraver for printing of corrugated boxes and displays for grocery stores. He then became an artist through natural talent and started designing what was to be put on boxes. He had to get his GED and go to college to learn how to use the computers to design. He did a lot of work for Dr. Scholl, Whyler’s Cool Aid, Oscar Myer, etc... He designed the bottle of Mrs. Butterworth the one of her figure and face. Perhaps you might go to companies that need artists for corrugated or box designs for companies. I’m not sure if there any are there in Orlando I know there are a few here in Chicago. Try to look into it see what you can find out. Good luck!

Well first of all put God in the midst of it for he is your Creator and Maker we are looking for everything but of him he is your source not ourselves or any man he said that he will not share his glory with another so it's not about u it's about him because he is in control of all things we have to put him first in all that we do. The Bible says lean not to your own understanding but in all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths.

Start looking into your local AIGA chapter. See what kind of opportunities they may have for internships in design, etc. Also, networking... Attend design events, and speak with people from your school. They have to have some places they can send you. Finally, if you are talented and gifted as you say, your portfolio/demo reel should be kickass and stand out to people.
