What are you Passionate about?
You can have the most impressive resume and be the best candidate for the job, however, if you lack passion - it can hurt your chances. Whether it's being quiet, not specifying how you contributed to projects on your resume or you didn't display the effusiveness they were used to seeing in strong candidates.
Demonstrating passion is not only the predictor of a great job candidate, but this trait is also referenced by hiring managers as feedback. It's important to figure out how to convey what matters to you most.
Start with why Your resume will tell a long list of what you did. Not why. Why you chose that activity? And the impact of your work.
Discuss where you invest extra time A suitable candidate is expected to be smart, work hard, and get results. An exceptional candidate tells interviewers when and where he went above and beyond.
Share your hobbies When you're passionate about something, it tends to spill over into other aspects of your life.
Talk about where you've worked for free Passion and belief can lead you to work on something even when it's not part of your job or hobby.
Don't get overlooked during your next job interview because you don't display the kind of full-throated, table-thumping behaviors companies tend to equate with passion. Help employers see the commitment underlying your actions and words. Show them that passion comes in different forms and yields impressive results - the kind of results you've already nailed.
Remember - Passion is energy. Let people feel your power from what excites you.

When a person opens their mind to the possibilities, objectively analyze information, they will be able to perceive great truths that have been overlooked. Thanks for sharing! Stephanie K
Passion is energy - and I think by talking about things you love or that really interest you, that energy is displayed in both your verbal and non verbal communication during an interview. Especially to managers who have interviewed tons of candidates.
Thanks for sharing Stephanie K - this is valuable advice for everyone, not just those on the job search!
