Office Manager at Hercules Demolition

Hampton Inn's postulant mendaciousness

I applied for Front Desk Clerk at Hampton Inn in Clinton. They required an "In person" application. Well I was informed I wasn't a good fit for the job. Not by phone call or "In person" mind you, I was informed via impersonal email. Needless to say, my last job was a Front Desk Clerk at Parkfield Inn, a competitor of Hampton Inn. I recieved raves from my supervisor during employment (unknown what was said after departure) and customers. I had to quit as my hours were cut and I lived over 35 miles away so I couldn't afford the commute. I am a very upfront honest person. You would think any professional company could at least have the common human courtesy to be honest most of all, and practice thier own expectations of others. Due to prior experience I can safely conclude they did not even give my resume, education, nor experience any consideration, nor did they give me even an ounce of respect in how they chose to inform me of thier obvious equivication. Here I thought people in the world had become more professional and respectful.

I'm sorry you had to go through that Krys. Unfortunately, that behavior is all too common. I'm sure, though, that you'll find an employer who values your skills and experience. Until then, best of luck with your job search!
