Surrendering Self-Will
Finally realized that my self will can only do so much. There are going to be things in life that I can not control. Why haven’t these employers called me back? Why is this application process so long? Why do companies post job openings if they don’t have any open jobs? Why are these employers judging and discriminating me because of my age, gender, race? I’ve been dwelling on this stuff for too long and it’s only serving to drain my energy, but NO MORE!! I’m going to turn my attention to the things I can control. Take more online classes to build up my skills. Write to more companies requesting Information Interviews. Seek out more networking opportunities. Volunteer. All I know is that something needs to change in life to inspire more success in my life during this crisis and hopefully this is it. Wish Me Luck and take a moment to stop and think.. Where am I focusing my energy?
That’s a sign of real spiritual maturity. That’s an attitude that will not only help you find a good job but enjoy a great life. I’m praying for you.
Sometimes we become our worst enemies and need to step out of the way. Continue to focus your energies and allow yourself to be led.
