I think it might be C if she is voluntarily making sacrifices, but don't think it's right for a husband to hold his wife back from reaching her goals of her full potential. Good luck.

A woman CHOOSING to do what she wants, making her own decision, is empowerment. It is when a man decides for her and she complies with his decision that it becomes something worse than stupidity or enabling.

I am not sure what would constitute a woman being held back. Can you provide examples? Are you talking about being a stay-at-home mom, or not taking a job as an executive because it will have her making more money that the husband and damage his fragile ego?

Women can choose their own path. They aren't property. If they choose to be a stay-at-home mom and raise the kids, they can do so while continuing their education online, or starting a home-based business, or volunteering.

Your use of the words "held back" is problematic, because it sounds like she is not part of the decision. If that is the case, then there may be bigger problems at hand than just being any of the things you listed.

C. Supporting your husband. I'm not sure where this question comes from..That's what a marriage is built on ( being supportive of each other )

If he's a good man, your husband, its all about team work. If you have the strength to stand by your husband without regret or doubt. That strength will be greater when it is your turn to thrive. And your husband will have your back.

If you are having regret or doubt.. Need to turn that energy into working on yourself. If not, that will destroy your marriage.
