A well-established Tier III I-502 producer/processor based in the North Mason area is searching for a Sales and Marketing Director. This position will be responsible for planning and implementing sales, both short and long range marketing, and product development programs targeted toward both existing and new markets.

To qualify for this position you MUST have:

A strong background in outside sales with a min 5 years’ experience in Marketing Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or business administration or equivalent number of years of experience Five (5) years of related experience with progressive management Minimum of 1 year experience within the I-502 industry Reliable transportation to perform site visits Key Competencies should include:

Business Acumen Communication Proficiency Customer/Client Focus Leadership Presentation Skills Problem Solving/Analysis Results Driven Strategic Thinking Technical Capacity As Director of Sales and Marketing, you’ll be responsible for:

Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and sales plans Forecasting to achieve corporate objectives for products and services Developing and managing sales/marketing operating budgets Planning and overseeing advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail Developing and recommending product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share Monitoring competitor products, sales and marketing activities Representing company at trade association meetings to promote products Meeting with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals Work Environment and Travel: 80% of the time, this position will operate within a professional office environment, with the other 20% requiring travel to perform retail site visits.
