looking for work

Hey everyone. I have been looking for a great job and I know that there are a lot of them out there is that I am not getting the results that I am looking for. I have put in countless hours of filing out the apps and sending them in but nothing. I have graduated for my associates degree in Business management this year and I thought that would get through the door. But I guess that I am wrong. It does not matter if I have that paper or not. Now I am back in school going for my bachelors in Human Resource and I want to move forward to a great career but it seems like it is taken longer then I wanted to. I am so tired of living by paycheck to paycheck and my bills are piling high. Any of you all have any leads on the job searches? I can move to Ga if I have to and even there the jobs are scarce. Thanks guys

Elizabeth

Ms. Houston I'm not sure who told you that but they are wrong. I lived in Richmond and worked as a social worker there. I am from Norfolk VA. My move to Atlanta in 2012 got me a $14,000 pay increase and a job 3 weeks after I got off the Greyhound bus on Pryor St. Now I will admit that with GA Tech, Spellman, GA State, and Clark Atlanta being right here in Atlanta you'll have to compete. You should've just stayed in Richmond and got a full degree instead of the lower. At this time Atlanta is enjoying about a 4.1% unemployment rate. Lower than the national average so we are told. But there is a college or university on every corner here. Morris Brown, Strayer, Atlanta Tech.... Brown Mackey.... So your degree is good to have, but may not have the teeth that you need. Choose wisely cause it's reported that 14-17,000 new people move here every month from other states. But yes Newport News, Williamsburg, and Henrico County people are here also doing what you are thinking about doing. I hope that helps... Be prepared... Just be prepared is all...
