I had an awesome interview today.. Only problem is I have a past... 13 years old but I do. Seems I can't escape it and I spent time and family for it. I swear, paying for your crime does nothing for the rest of your life

Its your PAST! If you no longer do what you did. Since its your past, LEAVE it there! God is a forgiving God! Why allow others to keep you in the past? Its up to YOU to leave the past and begin fresh! There are ex offenders programs out there and or, agencies that employ ex offenders. Homeboys inc, located in LA, ca . maybe you can locate/ speak to someone within the company to see if they can locate a resource near you?
Hi Victoria, Do not get discouraged. I have a past too...taking ownership is key. There are a lot of jobs out there and programs that could help. A great thing in your favor is that the overall unemployment rate is so low that employees are having to look at other job pools. Keep doing the right thing...we can't outlive all of our consequences...but your confidence about who you are today WILL make the difference. Sounds like you interview well! That is awesome too! God is ever forgiving! If you have repented( meaning changed your ways) and asked God for forgiveness WHO shouldn't forgive you? God is sooooooooo HIGH, yet He looks low upon us as sinners. Pray, get into a reformed Christian church that is Bible believing! If you miss a Sunday or two, at least on those days, watch from your phone, laptop/ computer, or on TV. God is TOO able! Blessings!
