Oh MAN!!!
I remember when I was a car hop working at Sonic! I got so nervous carrying them out and reading back the order to the customers. You only were suppose to say some items to make it short and sweet. I had a tough time learning all the abbreviations on the menu, but after awhile I got it. Sometimes I talked WAYYYYYY too much, but I just tried to imagine what the customer would want to hear and see if it made sense. I tried to make sure people had a good experience. Lots of teens going on dates, families grabbing a quick meal, and friends just meeting up. I didn't mind it once I got past the nervous stage. It's a good job. The shakes are awesome too!!! I probably gained like 15 pounds drinking one a day. Totally WORTH IT!! #noregrets

One of my First job as a teen or maybe I was Twenty me I went From cooking to Car hopping on roller skates to Assist manager I loved it. And yes the menu was something esle. Remember the slogan? Look at Me,Smile at Me,Talk to Me and Check Back on Me. And Those Tuesday's Brown Bag Specials That was my day to get on the #1 Station. I Loved My job.
I give you a ton of credit! It's tough learning all those menus and codes. The shakes are very delicious, haha. Sometimes you have to get those work benefits when you can : ) Glad to hear you enjoyed your experience at Sonic Robert.

It's difficult sometimes remembering all the things on a menu and especially a big one like Sonic has. No one is perfect. It sounds like you did a good job while you were there.

That sounds like a really difficult job, and thats coming from someone with a decade of experience working in Restaurants already! I don't know if I could run around to various cars while keeping track of orders, payments, and food delivery! You must be an excellent multitasker @Robert Clark!! 🍦🍔🥤
