I have worked as an Administrative Assistant or in the Customer Service role for over ten years now. I am seeking a change in careers. I have done Call Center work for five years now, have a Bachelor's in Psychology. I really don't want to clean houses for a living but I love organizing. A friend mentioned Inventory Control. Not sure what to look up for jobs. I have a medical background.
I agree with previous comment Kathleen. You should look into Merchandising careers.
Hi Kathleen, I agree with your friend because you can easily transition your administrative and customer service experience into a merchandising job. Merchandisers is what's considered an entry level position within the Inventory Control career path. It involves planning and organizing locations to improve the customer shopping experience. There are some really good inventory control job opportunities in the big distribution centers like Amazon and Walmart if your looking get into that line of work.
