What I loved working at #goodwill
people loving imean you have to admit when you purchase retail people are in a loving additude for the most part

Heidi; You are right about retail work requiring that "special kind of person." This person need to be able to get along and deal with all different kinds of individuals with their own personalities, ways of expressions, beliefs, cultures, social etiquette, backgrounds, education, and idiosyncrasies. Not to mention whatever mood that they happen to be in at the moment. To properly provide good customer service, you need to want to help people, find out what solution works for what they are seeking and then offer an answer for them. You need to do this quickly, in a friendly manner and accurately for the most part. One good thing about retail is that there are always work to be found. There are even temporary positions that are available during the holidays, should you need extra cash and sometimes, these short term jobs can lead to full-time work if the employer is impressed with your quality of work. Another benefit to holiday retail work is the opportunity it gives you to see if the perspective employer is one that you would want to work for full-time. Thank you for sharing your comment with us. Best wishes to you and your employment.
I have experience in many areas and am happy with all of them and the care that I have been able to share no matter where I am.
