two suggestions

1. really do you homework on the company you are talking to/know their "sweet-spot", their business model and hopefully their customer domain..and why they are doing well
2. really do your homework on YOU..know your skills..what makes you a great fit and why...your experience and what 'weaknesses' you might have...because you are going to get asked...and your 'weaknesses' cannot be real weaknesses but strengths...that you reveal...such as " I am someone who likes to do the diligence to get things right the first time...and will take the time to do it right...[like that is a weakness]--Or people find me 'hard' to work with sometimes..because I am not a clock watcher...I want to do the job right, not halfway... time is of secondary importance........

If you prepare well...you will do well..."good-luck" loves preparation.....

Congratulations remember pray before. Here is why I say this. Last week I had a job interview with a corporate company the pay was amazing and I wanted that job. I prayed and asked God that he would either open the door or close it. I prayed that I did not know what was going on in the company but that God knows all things. I did not get the job and they seemed like they were very unhappy with their own job themselves. Well guess what I found out this afternoon?????? The company is going to give the staff the option to either move to El Paso or quit and they would be replaced. Isn't that amazing???????? So today out of the blue more less I had another interview I found out about my interview on Friday. I use the time driving to pray the exact same way. Now keep in mind this is a career change for me if I get this one. I would start at the bottom for less money and work my way up to a good income eventually. And also have a company truck to drive once I get the hang of it. The owner offered to hire me and invest time in me with training and all of the skills I will need to learn to do the job. I took a couple hours to let it sink in and I said yes to the offer. So I will need to start at the entry level and prove myself but they are giving me another career which is always good to be able to do more than just one job. I give the glory and praise to Jesus for taking care of me even though I'm a flawed individual. He will do the same for you to my brothers and sisters just ask him. I wanted to add that I put a ton of pressure on myself by trying to remember all of the advice and tips out there on the Internet. Once I turned the entire out come over to the Lord it took the pressure off of me and I believe that right after that is when the offer came through. I believe that when we place all that we have and all that we are into God's hands, it allows things in the super natural to start working on our behalf. In other words God is saying I know the sea is raging the waves are high and your afraid. But step out of the boat reach out and take hold of his hand and you will walk on water with him and be safe. These are the lessons that we must learn in life it never stops we will be doing this until his return

Put in 150 resumes since October 8 th . Had 3 red interveiw today with great company and fly to Huston weds for second interveiw . Flying me out again . Have a good offer and ready for one in Huston . Moral don't sell yourself short and jump at first offer . Especially if you know your job and are great at it. It's all in gods time not ours .he will provide! Don't ever sell yourself short there our still employers out there that can see the qualities .beleive it or not!

Hello Crystal, Rather than having HOPE you should really have FAITH. Hope is reserved for something you know probably know will not happen, like winning lotto. Do you Hope that GOD exists? Most likely not, but you have FAITH he does, right? Thomas Edison one of the greatest inventor of our time, only had a few years of education, yet he patented over 200 inventions. Andrew Carnegie made his fortune in manufacturing steel, yet had no idea how it is made. What did these 2 have in common? They both had FAITH that they can do it, it was not HOPE. They maintained a POSITIVE thought that it can be done. Just like you should have FAITH that you will get this job that you want so badly. I have been down the road you are going through right now, for me it was close to a year and a half. The moment I stop hoping for or wishing for and started having FAITH and DESIRE was when things started to workout. A great book I read is called 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill. Personally I think the title should be 'The Power of Thought' but the latter sells more copies. Being Rich can be had in many aspects within our lives not just in the monetary sense. All the Best
