Haven’t heard back from You!
So, I found this great job opening where my skills and experience match the job requirements to a tee. I filled the online application, attach a knockout resume and cover letter, and click “Submit”. I was super confident I would get a call back or an interview within a few days. 1, 2, 3 days pass by and NOTHING! I called the company to follow up on my application and a pleasant voice on the other end of the phone told me they received my info and everything seemed to be in perfect order so I should expect a call back from the hiring manager by the end of the week. The end of the week passed and another 4 weeks also went by in silence. I finally decide to forget about that job and move onto the next one but I find this happening every time I apply and I honestly can’t help feeling a little resentment over this impending question: Why aren’t employers responding? Is it simply that employers are playing rude, or is there something bigger at play here? What do you think I can do to get better results? Thanks for feedback!

They have become VERY SELECTIVE and they just don't give a SHIT!

I work forward to hearing from you in the near future.Give all ur worries to Jehovah he s always ready to help.

Well it seems like you ve done everything you needed to do. Be patient and in the mean time move on to the next application , never give up . YOU WILL find your desired job soon. I know you is.sometimes prayer works. Good Luck!

Fear not Marshall, the big majority of these folks have a lot on their plate and most likely are working 10 - 12 hours a day, with kids, and an assortment of other projects they feel needs done. 30 years back I was told keep calling, calling, calling and probably the worst advice in the history of ever! It's cool to call after a week or so I suppose but if there isn't a good feel about it let it go. Keep throwing lines in the river and I promise you the best work for you Will. Find. You..

Go to a temporary service that you know that these employers are hiring through

Very difficult to determine without seeing the "knockout" cv, or knowing the particular business, or at least industry, with whom you are applying..

Some dodge dealing with people because of issues with the job; current employees; or customers. Can't take offense to what employers do, "Easier said, that done;" because some don't want to deal with anybody til all their other problems dissipate.

Marshal its not just you ive been putting applications to places that say they are hiring than when i call to ask about mt applucation they say they arent hiring at the moment. So fustrating

Ask when specifically when the hiring manager is available like the time usually in the office. Of course call leave message, if not then ask for direct line and n0 answering machine please. If the facility is close get dressed professionally and go up there request to speak with HR manager or CEO or Administrator were face to face try get some results of answer.
It's such a coincidence I'm going through the same thing each and every day
