For all Jobcasers interviewing

I have been on interview after interview (either with a temp agent or direct hire) as most of you have also. And as most of you I hear the same thing over and over We have other candidates we are looking at/We have other candidates to interview but I will let you know. You never hear back and left wondering.

What you don't hear (I have actually had a few tell me)...I see so many people/resume's I might not remember you. I know that sounds bad but they are as busy as you are.

I always take the time to contact them when I get home with a Thank You email for meeting with me (gets my email into their system) and say whether a yes or a no I would like to hear back from them. It works.

I also contact them once a week to make sure they remember me (not everyone just the recent ones) (I would rather have a no than just wondering).

Point being....reach out, contact them and don't be left wondering.

Hi.

I agree with sending thank you notifications after an interview. It shows that you care enough to make an effort after getting through an interview, and it helps them to remember you and your professionalism, which can help increase your chances of landing a position.

It is very important to follow up with them after the allotted time frame they said they would contact you. It's understandable that they're busy working while trying to determine a chosen candidate.

Thanks for voicing good feedback to Jobcasers.
