Most companies would love an intern to help out in accounting and finance. Jobcase Interns are starting next week and I have a pile of projects for them. It may be too late to get an internship for this summer, so if you haven't already applied I would suggest doing so ASAP. Also another good volunteer option to work on your accounting skills is working with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
