Office Manager
Do you help hard working people find jobs who cannot write or read English well? I know a very hard working, dedicated individual who has been working in a warehouse recycling facility for the past 7 years and receives very little in the way of compensation for his work. After 7 years his hourly rate is $12.00 and others just starting ar beginning at $10.00 an hour. (He began at 8.00 an hour). He applied with Adecco but they basically said that if he doesn't read or write English there is nothing they could do for him. CAN YOU HELP?

Hi Abdullahi: Thanks for posting to Jobcase! I noticed you put "Office Manager" as the title of your post - does that mean your friend is looking for an office manager job? Unfortunately a lot of what an office manager does requires great English speaking/writing skills, so Adecco might be right here. But I bet there are a lot of other career options that could be a good fit. Would your friend try to go for a better warehouse job? Or try working in a new facility?
