I held two positions at elkridge estates. Started off working at the gatehouse. Greeted residents and directed visitors to their destination. Worked my way anti a maintenance position. Maintenance crew consisted of maybe six people in the shop, the complex consist of approximately 400 units. Beside handling resident concerns when a unit became vacant typically it be repainted and new carpet installed. Maintenance would be responsible for replacing bathroom toilets and vanities as well as install new linoleum, also worked on empty kitchens, tearing out old and replacing kitchen wall cabinets,countertops and new kitchen sinks, and faucets,stoves,refrigerator and ice maker,as well as hook up dish washers, and washer and dryer,and hang new lights where needed. Install kitchen linoleum and travist rods and worked on heat and air conditioning units. Elkridge provided necessity schooling to work effectively and efficiently.
