Miss old coworkers
I don’t work at Burger King anymore but when I used too my coworkers were the best of the best. I would die for some of those folks we stuck together and worked together so well. I stay in touch with a few of em but I miss those days of getting stuff done and having fun. Definitely don’t miss the job just the people. Hope others had that experience there or elsewhere in their lives.

I definitely understand where you are coming from. I work in a drugstore and do basic customer service work all day long but the people I work with are just wonderful!! I love them too death. I think it's okay to for you to maybe go back up and just visit with your coworkers at Burger King, you know? Keep in touch by texting or what not. That's how great friendships are made, in my opinion:)

Thank you for sharing this post, Paul. I think it is amazing that you were apart of an amazing community at Burger-King. Your ex-coworkers are happy to know you!

If you're able to experience that degree of camaraderie and efficiency with your work team even once in your life, you're lucky! It doesn't come around very often, and usually when it does, you don't realize what you had until it's gone.

I feel like that is what makes or breaks a job.

Yeah I worked at a hospital, miss all my co-workers they were all like family to me.

Yep. Shout out to the crew @ Harbor Freight Tools in San Diego on Miramar Rd. I worked there for years and miss the core team. Didnt matter what we did... We just laughed so hard that it wasn't even work. At the same time we led the Area in sales and performance too. Weird. It felt like all we did was crack jokes

I thought your story was really heart warming ,sounds like you made some good friends ,says alot about you ,you must be a good hearted person nice story

I worked in the PA state legislature for 25 years. It's been five years, now, and I certainly miss my coworkers. Working in a state legislature is a unique job, and people who have not had the experience just don't understand "us". And no matter where I work, I will always be one of "them".

It's so wonderful when your co-workers become family. I've never worked in the food industry, but can relate to good working conditions.
The work was a pain in the butt but some of the people were the best to work with I miss working for Burger King I really do. If I knew I could get back to it again I would do it in a heartbeat
