Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the positive comments. I’ve been working as Inventory management for these past years. I’ve applied for what I’m professionally use to. But I think some employments don’t think a women can load and unload pallets lol

It took Toys 'R Us decades of growth to become a huge company employing so many people, and it's not like they can simply get a job at Sears, Macy's or Montgomery Wards. I wonder if all of these store closures cause the price of retail space to drop significantly, and allow business to re-start, but I guess that depends a lot on what property owners decide to do.

Have you applied to Target, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot? They hire pretty regularly. Ikea is also hiring! I am not sure if you have one near you, but you can also follow these few simple steps to find a job opportunity here on Jobcase.

2. Enter a job into the search field where it says Job Title, Keywords, or Company.

While the shut down is terrible often when a door closes another opens. You have great insight into what causes a company to go bankrupt. You can help other retailers. While I personally believe that retail as we know it will not exist in the next 5 years it does provide an opportunity for you in the e-commerce area.
