Determination
Had a bit of a set back yesterday. I somehow stumbled backwards while moping my vanity area. That metal piece that separates the carpet from the tile got me good. Now I have this huge hole in the heel of my foot. Yesterday I was feeling some type of way and was like why my foot again. 2 years ago I found out I had Arthritis in that same foot. It hurts so bad when inflammation kicks in but I'm determined, nothing like this is going to win,I'm the winner, I will adjust and I did. I can either sit around and cry about the fact that I can't walk right now or I can get my bottom back into gear and do what needs to be done. I don't give up that easily and sure don't give up over a small setback like that. My baby girl is watching me, I'm suppose to be an example for her, she looks up to me, she depends on me to take care of her, to love her,to nurture her and to teach her. Teaching her to sit around and cry about a little set back is not what I want to teach her, determination on the other hand is what I need to instill in her. so today I'm up early doing what I have to do to make it happen so she can see that no matter the situation rather negative or positive, I'm still suppose to do what I have to do to make it in this world.

So sweet.

Bless your heart. Sounds like a little more than a little setback...but it will get better before you know it and you'll be back up and going again. Be sure to take care it doesn't get worse in the meantime..see your doctor if it doesn't get better very soon..if you haven't already.

I’m a mother of 3 girls. 2 pre teens and 1 teenager. 5 yrs ago my 9yr old daughter passed and I felt the same way. I also have numerous health issues but I keep going. I went so hard and stayed so strong that my kids almost lost me. In my opinion showing that life throws you curve balls but we do our best to keep going, but not as super heroes. Life is hard and if we don’t share both we’re not equipping them and providing them the tools as well as coping mechanisms. I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis when I was 20 and most meds had sulfur in them and I’m allergic. While we tried to figure things out I was prescribed prednisone which alleviated my pain completely. It’s a steroid usually used to treat asthma, but you can ask your doctor about it until you get a regimen that works. It’s not meant for long term use. Also in my opinion, I think you’re an awesome mom simply for carrying. You’re there showing them what strong women do and if you happen to be in pain and whine a little, it’s ok to show you’re human. Good luck and Good bless.

I have nothing to say you got this

Roselin: Please take care of yourself though; If you can visit a doctor, please do; You need to be healthy for your daughter. I am sure you are a great parent; but make sure there is no infection; I slipped and jammed my ankle into a concrete step about a month. and I may have a blood borne illness now; It doesn't take much to get really sick.
