Cam part time hours change on a daily basis without any notice?
So I found a job working for a big retailer working part time. The people I work for are pretty cool, but for some reason they do not have me working the hours indicated on the weekly schedule provided a week prior. So why provide hours beforehand if those are not the hours they have me working?

Hi Claudina, According to the current department of labor laws in most US states they can change your schedule with no prior notice but that's about to change. Some states are already changing the labor laws related to schedule updates and on call standards for service employees. Approach your manager or supervisor in private and ask for more realtime scheduling forecast to allow more work/life balance.
