I have been in my current position as a corrections officer for almost 12yrs. I have been unhappy most of the time but have always been prompt for work, never had a write up and received excellent performance evaluations. But I have been looking for another job for over a month and only had one interview. They did not call back. I feel like I don't have enough education with only a high school diploma (received in 1981) too much experience and an too old.
