Hr Manager at Ipa Direct

What should I do?

Need your suggestions. I am a Senior - 30 years HRM experience. When going into an interview (Have 1 this week), I am tempted to talk to the elephant in the room (age) and address concerns up front. What would you do and how ? Can you give me some pointers? Much appreciated!

First go in with a positive attitude expecting positive results and accept in your mind only that you are and will complete your goal at hand. It's the saying walk by faith not by sight. Always show respect to whom ever you are face with no matter how there response or attitude is. Be affirmative sell yourself and what ever you say be accountable for your words with actions. You are blessed and you will succeed others will see light shining bright in you and you will accomplish your agenda

I think it depends on who is interviewing you and what of type connection to the person interviewing you. Is there true interest in what you have to offer, or is the interviewer is just going through the motions to be polite. Did your resume reflect the amount of experience and actual dates?

I am also looking to be offered the opportunity to interview and I think my resume has been working against me. So, if your resume is what got you in the door, I would say you are doing well so far and they are interested in your vast experience. It has been my experience that if you can embody the energy level this company may expect of their hires (i.e. they won't need to worry that you won't be able to keep up judging from your posture, etc. and can embody energetic confidence, you're golden! Just my thoughts.
