Unions are basically the mob!

I saw a construction strike once, where all these unioners were standing outside keeping anyone else from entering the worksite. One guy was trying to go in and they physically pressed him against a fence until he collapsed. I saw this with my own eyes. I don’t see how it can be legal to keep other people from getting a job! Don’t ever join a union, it’s just evil

I don't think that group handle that situation properly. And I could see how a mob of people standing in front of a business would look mobish. If I saw people joining together. Supporting each other. Standing up, and demanding that a company do good business, and give there employees a fair shake. so they could provide for there family's. I'd say that looked american.

I beg the differ on that. Unions fight for your rights health and safety fair and equal wages and benefits. They even influence non Union wages. Most non Union places pay higher wages to keep unions away wich. Maybe you should do your research on unions before posting that they are pure evil.

Some unions can go that way, especially in towns like Philadelphia. Scary stuff goes on there. But unions bring a lot of good too. Better wages, better benefits... https://cdn.americanprogress.org/wp-content/uploads/issues/2011/09/img/unionsgraphic.jpg

I think they can be good or bad. I think that instance was a little extreme. They can help you with getting decent wages and working conditions, but you don't have to agree with everything all the time. I don't think life runs that way.
