Boss took money from my check
I was a contract employee for a torching company. They took money from my check without approval from me and without it being in the contract. Then when I asked about it they fired me because of asking how they could do that without my permission.

Hi Andrew Kaiser - I would go directly to the labor board. A company is not allowed to withhold pay from you, and you are entitled to that money. The labor board should help you sort this out, as they will know the local laws around it.
