Has anyone had this happened.
I called a recruiter back today because they called me yesterday. The position they wanted to interview me for was filled this morning. They wanted me to drive 40 miles away from my home to come speak with them possibly for a position that was not available at this time but might come about. I declined only because I had done this once before with another recruiter months ago and never have called me in for anything else nothing and it has been about six months I have called back and they said not to call and they would call me I am disrupting their day was what one person told me the very last time I called. I don't want to go down the job staffing agency road again because of the treatment I have received has anyone else have had this happened to them or am I alone in this?

yes debe it due normally happen in different form while the point of feeling disappointed is normal we are all human so we all have this passion to build to cocreat that God given potentiall in us but alone the way we face alot of difficulty in wich it shape us ahead for the greater one which is yet to come,so keep moving aiming, one day u will have alot of opportunities u will be the one to choose
wow....i recently had the same thing happend to me they told me dont call them they would call me and had a very bad attitude about it even went on to tell me that i would be better off going through another agency. you are not alone.
Which job is there
I went in a rain storm to an agency and once they saw me sat me down took some notes and handed me a whole bunch of papers. I let some time go by and emailed them and the woman/girl answered me back saying that they had nothing. I do not believe a word anyone says to me any more because they lie through their teeth. I am so tired of hearing the job is on hold, we do not have anything etc. The internet I found is no better! Good luck and try to keep the faith.
If. a recruiter or a staffing agency spoke to me or treated me the way you say they are treating you; I would not want to the recruiter working for me and I wouldnt want to work for that temporary agent. I would however let it be known how they treat their potentials.
Same here but those people are stupid if they think that your not cute out for the job all i care is that they stick their heads up their butts
Move on. See your value and know something better will come your way. Be patient. What is meant to be will be. Keep your head up.
One time I had a positive interview and they said they would give me a call I didn't hear anything for over a week an finally I called them and they said they are at already filled the job wasn't that nice ofthem not to let me know.
