Asking for a little help.
I'm at the point of no return for myself. I've been unemployed for three months and have no income at all. My bills are just piling up. I'm going to loose my home. The MVA has even suspended my driver's license because I'm a diabetic. I haven't even had any insulin reactions in the last eight months. I've even tried to find work on-line, but still haven't been able to find anything.

Are you not collecting unemployment yet? with that you can file for public assistance like for food and medical. It wont pay all your bills but you can survive till a job comes about. If you interview, Im not sure you need to disclose your medical history provided you are not operating any equipment that is considered dangerous. Call some churches and many mortgage companies can assist with forbearance agreements (NACA is one who can help save your home.) Im in the same boat, but I was able to file for early retirement at 62. Don't forget to pray and thank God for what you do have. We will pray for you as well.

Hi Betty right now i see that your back is against the wall and that things aren't getting any better as well as your health issues. Maybe your best bet is to file for your disability because things aren't getting any better for you and by them taking your drivers license it shows that after while you are going to have to quit because your health is more important right now than trying to work. and you aren't able to keep this up. please go to social security and let them know that its time for you to retire because things are pretty bad for you as well as your health.
I WISH YOU THE VERY BEST TRULY I DO AND I PRAY THAT THINGS WILL WORK ITS SELF OUT GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS.

They interviewed me right on the spot at the job fair and I think I might be getting the job. I’m praying and keeping my fingers crossed.

Also apply for a modification with the mortgage company they’ll work with you

Check out the Affordable Care Act in your state my daughter in law has and it’s free just has to pay a deductible

I understand..I also have been out of work for 3 months. There maybe a free clinic in your area to receive Rx assistance. Also there are some free RX prescription drug programs through a pharmacist. I'm Praying for you.

Betty: Very sorry to hear of this. I know you mentioned online, but there is a worker onboard YouTube channel that lists online and work at home jobs. Also, try 1099 mom. Maybe get a doctor's note on the driver's license. It doesn't seem right that you aren't allowed to drive. God Bless you. You just need time.

What area do you live in? Maybe try getting a roommate or two to not lose your home until you find Just until you were able to get a job and be on your own two again.

I understand what you are going thru. I have been out of work since September and am not getting anywhere. I am now hitting up unemployment which pays hardly anything to live on. I may lose my apartment soon. I have over 17 years at my last job. I get interviewed but get rejected - I'm even rejected without interviews. It's because there are sooo many young people out there leaving their jobs for better jobs with bigger perks that they are bombarding all the jobs and companies know it When I go for a job they ask "well what kind of perks are you looking for" I just say I'm looking for a job. It kinda puts them off though so maybe I should ask for some! LOL! The companies are now bombarded with young people looking for better jobs from the ones they have that so the ones that NEED a real job are getting pushed aside. Older workers like me (I'm 59) are being replaced at a rapid pace by younger ones with no experience because they are cuter and they think they have what it takes but believe me they DON'T. I give those people a year before they leave for more money. Don't give up. Get your resume revamped even if you have to do it yourself by looking for resumes online and formatting it like the ones online. Make sure you do all the job websites (Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter). Get the recruiters to start looking and bothering you to go on interviews. It will help your outlook. Get yourself one nice suit - I know it costs money but it will be worth it. I've been on tons of interviews but I"m not giving up. I CAN'T GIVE UP. I HAVE NO CHOICE. Help yourself in your job search as much as you can. Life gives you no guarantees only hope! I'm not going to say all this will work but you have to boost yourself. I cry everyday when I get a rejection from companies who haven't even interviewed me saying I'm not right for the job when all they have on their job description is EXACTLY what I do. Keep the faith and keep on trucking. As for help from the government. Look for programs that can help you.
Contact the insulin companies. If you explain your circumstances, I think they will give you insulin for little or no money. There are three insulin manufacturers serving the U.S. market: Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, and Sanofi.
