lost job

I was informed that i was not being recontracted due to resurturing they wanted sheetmetal along with mechanic. I was terminated other parties envolved where not, mainly qaulity control which has overall control of maintenance. After sheetmetal was added in my position a nother aircraft mechanic position was added. I think there is some form of personel problem involed here my management. I think i have a law suit here what do you think?

Sorry to say but you can be terminated for any kind of reason with the employer wants to terminate you on any grounds within the first 90 days it's their prerogative and can get away with it sorry bro you can try but it's going to waste your pockets waste of money in your pockets

Well Jim, The new At Will laws clearly state that an employee can be terminated at any time for any reason without warning or notice. A company still have to follow laws pertaining to no form of discrimination. Age, race, gender and such. The company chose to not renew your contract. This is a bit different than termination. This is more like, they did not choose to rehire you. This also entitles you to draw unemployment. In order for there to be an actual lawsuit that a lawyer will take, you must be able to prove discrimination. A lawyer goes to work for the same reason as the rest of us, to make money. They have bills and a lifestyle just like the rest of us. Many people think there are lawyers out there who take probono cases and there are, but, those cases have to be so perfect that you wouldn't need a lawyer to win. People get terminated all the time. So, in order for a lawsuit to pay, you would have to show harm. The payout would be based upon how much harm you received. Do you see millions in harm? Just simply not getting your contract renewed would not show it. That happens to everyone. If you can't see large summs of money in harm, the lawyer isn't going to see it, the judge isn't going to see it and no jury will see it. Just because they chose to keep a different employee on and not you, does not equate to harm or foul. Remember it is their business and they do have the right to choose who they want to keep and who they want to let go. Just like if you owned a business, it would be your right to choose. So no, I do not think you have a lawsuit.

Don't know what you are saying, you are not certified in sheet metal? Obviously you don't fit in because you're not the best worker and that's being nice
