Anyone know about videoing of employees dos & donts? My employer has cameras in our trucks. We were told they are there to.protect us in the event of an accident & Now we find out we being watched every minute & 20 mins after we have shut key off & are on breaks. Is this legal. Is there no privacy anymore. They dont have cameras on them that we get to watch of all they are doing & saying throughout their work day. No laws have been broke no wrong doing. They are using them to big brother what we are doing to knit pick us even when we are not behind the wheel. Yet they are not being watched or their managers hearing their conversations. We understood that they turn off shortly once the key is off & removed. Not true at all. Trying to fire a guy for having to use country roadside for a bathroom break, #1, no one saw, or any reason to be watching him. No options of a restroom. Guy has prostate issues medical issue they have known about. They suspended the poor guy. Treating him like a criminal...wouldn't let him on property to get his paycheck. We are outraged. Need Oregon work place camera/video laws
