Inpatient Hospital Stay

So I recently informed my work that I am going inpatient in a facility. I got discharged yesterday and I am worried after emailing them that I am back that I will be told I am fired bc no one could cover my shift for monday. I haven't gotten a call or email saying I have been terminated and am still on the contact list for people to call me to cover shifts but I am just wondering if they can fire me and if they do what can I do?

Call the Employees Concern Hotline. It will be investigated.

I would think since you have gave them plenty of notice I hope, and a doctor's excuse then no they can't fire you.. You have to have a doc excuse though. Also, how long were you gone?

Stop being negative, keep yourself positive at all times. If you like to know, whether are not your all set for your job call and find out. I am pretty sure if you gave them fair warning you will be just fine.
