McDonald’s - Is the All Day Breakfast a step in the right direction?
I’m down for an egg white mcmuffin at any time of the day but do you think this business strategy will help the company get out of the red? Fortune magazine seems optimistic, see http://fortune.com/2015/10/05/mcdonalds-all-day-breakfast-pros-cons/. I think it’s interesting to see how an american original restaurant like McDonald’s who’s been on top for so long get to the point of reporting multiple low earning quarters.

“LeBron James leaving McDonald's to become new spokesman for Blaze Pizza”, (http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2015/10/lebron_james_mcdonalds_blaze_p.html). This can’t be good for business. There goes the Fall marketing campaign….

I can’t really say too much on this question because I don’t really eat at McDonalds but I do agree with Fortune in the “small meals” alternative. I think this offers more variety and that’s always a good thing. The company should focus on more affordable combination meals. Those menu items seem too pricey.
I'm not a fan of McDonald's so it doesn't change anything for me, but I do love places that offer me breakfast all day. Sometimes that's just what you want! But the fact that they won't have the full breakfast menu?! I think that is a mistake! I don't think it will work as they had hoped because of that.
