Hi Bo: Happy to help! If you follow the prompts in your Jobcase profile, you'll be able to create a resume that you can use to apply for jobs (just download it by clicking the "Generate a PDF" button on your profile). Once you've done that, here’s how to see who’s hiring near you:

  • Click on the “Jobs & Companies” text at the top of this page
  • Enter the type of job role you're looking for
  • Click the blue search button If you see something that looks interesting, just click View Job and follow the instructions to apply. Let us know how it works out for you!

The application process has been experiencing dramatic changes over the years. It’s uncommon to find a company that you can walk into, fill out an application, and get an interview. Most job openings today are found online and the initial application process is much less personal due to the high number of applicants competing for the same job. Today, job applicants need a number of variables to be successful. If you’ve been out of the job search process for a while then I suggest you contact your local career resource center to book a free one-on-one consultation with a trained career counselor. They can help you build your resume for optimization which you can upload onto your jobcase profile to begin your job search. Use the national CareerOneStop website to find a career resource center near you, (https://www.careeronestop.org/). Reach out to me if you have any other questions.
