I worked for the government for 34 years, I should have been promoted several times during those years did not happen. I was a minority where I worked however, my work was impeccable. We have a rating based from 1 to 5, 5 being the absolute best. I received a 5 for over 10 years of my last year with the IRS. The last 3 years were absolutely worst. I was diagnosed with an auto immune disease and stress only makes the symptoms worse. I filed an EEOC and it was investigated, I was told I would be given a hearing but that has not happened as of yet. I could not stand the way I was being treated so I went ahead and retired, although I was not ready to. My house went into foreclosure bills were piling up and I just though I was going to go insane. I worked out a modification with the mortgage company but that is a joke because they actually raised my payment and did nothing to lower the principle. I've lost money trying to find a legitimate online job. I know others have it a lot worse than I but I'm just trying to keep my head above water. Advise would be greatly appreciated.
