Torn between two jobs

I took a job which was supposed to be part time but my full time job with great benefits hired me before l applied for the part time. The hours of the part time interfares with my full time and l am starting to like the part time but my bills can't all be paid with the part time job. I really feel torn at this point, but l was waiting on my background checks to come back from my full time job and it took a really long time, l suspected because of the holidays. That is the reason l had to take the part time and began to like it. I know my problem might be insignificant because there are people out there who can't find jobs right now and l am lucky enough to have two, but l would really like some advise

Audith,

What's the question...if you are unable to keep both, and the part-time position is not paying enough to pay your bills, then what choice do you have. Other than holding out passing up the FT gig and seeking another part-time position in addition to the one you already have.

You can always approach HR and see if there's a possibility of FTE. If you find you are getting a Zero affect then take a day off to start the new JOB and see how you feel about it before leaving your PT job.

This is typically a dilemma that we all have at one time or another in our life's. Never exactly an easy choice to make, but nevertheless has to be made one way or another!

I had a similar situation some many years ago, whereas I was actually working two full-time jobs, both temps to hire, however, the one I had been on the longest hadn't offered the position FTE but kept it dangling overhead. Well needless to say I had to make a decision and Oops choose the one I had been on longest and 1 weeks later they laid off most all the temp workers including myself. So I ended up with no job!!!
