I know the feeling I’m a 53 year old woman, times are hard. Laid off and now at a job i can’t get many hours. Been replying to jobs online and nothing. I don’t know what I’m going to do. Hard worker, very dependable, but online applying is really bad for me

Start looking towards investmemts rather it be trustworthy people and or financial planning...what ways can you utilise whats avialble to you...what matters can you admit to without concern. Take yoir time..exclude all distractions, focus on budgetting and saving make your resources strong

Don't worry your BLESSINGS ARE COMING FOR THE WORK FEILD AND MUCH MORE

I have been applying in Texas since January. And I have the same experience and no one is calling me back either. I dont want to move back without a job

Carol, I would like to try to assist you, but I need some info. What are your real skills, what do you like to do, what do you want to do? In what general area do you live.....N, E, the South, rural, city, etc.? Please write back so I will know where to start. Ron

Carol, you need to come to texas if you don't already live here. There are tons of jobs here requiring those type's of skills. Age doesn't matter. It's your work ethic and consistency that helps you. Bless your pops. Hope he see's another 96 years.
Don't ever give up looking for work, if that is what you want or need in your life. Keep going forward. I was in the same boat as yourself, at 69 yrs old, and after I started volunteering at a museum, the people in the gift shop downstairs from the museum needed a sales person and hired me! I worked there for almost 4 yrs. I feel that my volunteer job at a place that I loved brought me into my next phase of getting hired for a salary. Now I am in my seventies, and looking for another paying job to supplement my SS. I know what my limitations are, the environment I wish to work in, and the people I want to be around. At this age I am looking for a job that provides me with meeting new people, a decent income, part-time work and some laughter and pleasure working again. I just keep on looking for that and won't take less at this age!!!! With all my past working experiences ,communication skills and working with the public skills, I am an asset to anyone who hires me. That's my attitude now!
