According to the Associated General Contractors of America the state of California is growing faster and has created more new construction jobs within the last 3 years than any other state in the union. Unfortunately, filling those new jobs with skilled workers continues to be a challenge. A Non-profit called The Northern California Construction Training (http://www.ncct.ws/welcome) has designed a combination classroom and hands on field training program to ensure students measure up to the demand. After successfully completing the program students are directly placed within an apprenticeship in one of 16 trades, (Plumbers, Carpenters, Plasterers, Electricians, Sheet metal workers, Laborers, Ironworkers, & more).
