Actually I didn’t even have an interview....
I had a date for my interview set and when I went in for my interview, I never got one. She shook my hand and said welcome a board. So when I got hired they threw me in drive thur with the quickness. Remind I never went through the orientation nor did they put me on website to do the orientation. So fast forward I was working there for two months and still didn’t do orientation and one day I found my managers swipe and held it until I could get to her but my district manager was there and she saw me with the food swipe and took it from me and walked away. She never said anything to me as she walked out. Two days later my manager told me not to come in so I went up there to meet a friend and before I could get in the building my gerneral manager came to me crying saying she had to let me go .... because the district manager lied and said she saw me using it. Then when I tried to speak with her the same day ... she fanned my off and refused to speak with me. And this was the Hardee’s on Whitten...

You got the shaft, they should have given you some idea of, what was expected of you.

Wow. They clearly didn't deserve you and you deserved better! Sorry about that experience but you will do so much better!! Blessings

Since you did not have orientation, were you given an employee handbook of any kind? If you were then there isn't much recourse but if you were not then you definitely need to contact your local workforce development office and see what your options are. I agree you should also let HR know. Good luck.

Unfortunately everyone lies, but what you should do is call corporate HR and inform them of her shotie managerial skills

Call me "managers' swipe" challenged, what is that? Not being in the fast food industry I couldn't even give it a guess. Bu I do know how to do the right why didn't you return it ASAP? People close ranks in certain situations and if you are the chosen one ranks will be closed to keep you out. Wishing nothing but the best for you and yours.

Tough break Zaria Shorter , sorry to hear. National quick service restaurant, especially those that offer franchise options, are a challenge to find consistent hiring and service practices. Some restaurants won't even allow employees access to cash registers unless they've completed the orientation and training.
Lesson learned for next time you get a rushed job offer.
All fast food places are pretty much the same be at Hardee's Arby's McDonald's or Burger King Burgerville Etc and a fork to add a few of them and management is all pretty much the same. so different from the first management that I came into contact with of Sears Roebuck and Company very professional very eleads very sophisticated working in the fast food industry with that type of management it was similar to self-taught wannabes a lot of their business principles and regulations just don't make any sense whatsoever I'm happy to finally be out of the fast food restaurant industry one of the better moves of my career that I've made in my lifetime.
