Hello. I 've been trying to find a full time job in the Orange County area in California. I've haven't had much luck. Am I too experienced (old) for most of these jobs? I feel like I'm missing a piece of the puzzle. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey Pattie, You are definitely not too experienced (old) my friend. It's just tough sometimes to land gig and it takes a lot of applications to get that right offer. The good news is that we are coming into hiring season for retail and so the wind should be at your back to get a good job. Suggest you revisit any old openings that you might have seen over the summer and suggest you get in about 2-3 apps per day for the rest of this month, followup each one and I bet you'll be surprised at the success you'll have.
The tough part is keeping a good attitude during this process (I know its not fun - I've been there!). But if you do, good things WILL happen. Good luck! You've got a lot of jobcasers rooting for you! Fred
