Are there any job shadows in the warehouse industry?
I am about to graduate highschool and have decided to take a break before going to college. I was looking into being a package handler at a warehouse, but I am not sure what they do or even if I would like it. Is there anywhere I can go to try it out for a few days?
You find a temp agency where you will see plenty of people fighting suicide because they wish they would have stayed in school.. My advice stay in school and make a temp agency a part time for extra cash when you can. And donate plasma twice a week its cash in hand
I worked for FedEx Ground years ago and they gave me an orientation on the first day then put me on the the loading docks. The job is pretty basic and doesn't require too much training. You move to more complex areas in the sorting process as you learn. Most of the bigger companies offer great tuition benefits for students.
Ups does tuition but hell the army or something pays more than a package handler
