I want a honest a sincere advise!!
I have a interview coming soon, as part of the paper work to bring the interview there is a form to fill up asking about my convictions, I had been hear a bunch of the advises as " if that happen more the 7 years don even mentioned" " be honest said the true" lie they don't check" etc etc, I'm really interested in this position after 2 years been unemployed, I meet all the qualification and experience, the other issue its my age. but I want let that one on the side, the job its is with one a city in Arizona, the true its a have DUI conviction about 9 years ago, i paid all my legals compromises and went to a treatment and classes required with by the law,, what do you think i need to do in this case?

What you have to do is be honest and show the man a transformation or so to come the transformation that you've made from your past to your present and how you want to foster growth for your future I gave you in a sample I was recently working for Uber over did a background check on me they hired me to moms need to do another background check on me and something for 25 years ago so that they fired me I never lied to them about my past never had it incident on the fraction while driving over 2000 people to the destination so they goes to show you just be honest man and you Cant go wrong

Home if u just have that one DUI b truthfully. Walmart says the are velonie friendly. Bullshit. They went back from time I was 18 and now 41. No assault charges had addiction issue was mine. The guy pumped me up told me my schedule past my UA and even told him last time I was in trouble. Said probably still have job waiting on back grown to come back. Backgrounds should b only allowed a limit for jobs 7 to 10 years. How the hell they aspect a man now recovered to support his family. I know the struggle. And I noticed company's that dont check will work u like energized bunny and treat u like shit.

Lisa's going to check in and see how you doing today I'm blessed how are youone step ahead they're still looking at your paperwork and then ask you to court in the back of the you are you don't have to go into detail about it just be honest don't get mad don't show no sweat don't get nervous because that's what makes you don't get the job you have to stay positive and know that you got it with your head up high and pray

If the application asks if you have committed a felony and it was a misdemeanor dui then put no. If the application asks if you have ever been convicted of any crime at all then say yes and just put dui. If it was 9 years ago and it's not for a driving position it most likely will not impact you when it's time for the background check. Last, sometimes the application will ask for convictions in the last 7 years only....if it specifically asks that then you can put zero since it been nine years.

Before you complete the conviction form, do your own driving records check. I just checked and I believe it's the ADOT site. In a situation such as your's I wouldn't take anyone's advice. Find out the facts for yourself. If what you find on the site still doesn't satisfy you, call (or have someone call) your Motor Vehicle division and speak with someone. Nothing better than know the facts!
Do not lie to future employers. Your buddy is giving you the wrong advice. If you are honest & tell them what you have done to improve your life since then, you will find a lot of places will give you a chance. If you put in your application w/lies on it,you could be fired &/not eligible for rehire at some places. I know. I do have a felony(Agg.AssaultW/A Deadly Weapon)-Class B Felony. I have been honest & straightforward on all my applications & most interviewers are good at reading people. Go in w/a cofident attitude & don't forget to smile. Just tell them your crime is in the past. You've served your time & you just want to.put it as far behind you as you can. I'm not saying it's gonna be easy as you already know, but some places to that do background checks will put you on a"blacklist" if it's discovered that you lied to them on your application. I hope this was helpful. Not intended to be mean, but you wanted honest advice. So there it is :-)-Good luck in your future endeavors.
