To fellow jobseekers: After one year and 6 months, approximately 800 job applications, 12 interviews, I finally received a bonafide offer. I am very thankful, joyous and appreciative. I can say is that it's been a long arduous, depressing, daunting and an overwhelming journey. The defining moment for me was when I decided to trust the law of attraction by focusing on being happy and believing that the universe would yield and bring the right opportunity my way. I never gave up while envisioning how I would feel when I got hired and what I would do with my first paycheck and so forth. When I would get an interview I would say, 'I am getting one step closer to being hired". In essence, I had to really change my thought process to enable me to remain joyful when I had low funds and no job offer in site. The takeaway is to refrain from telling the same narrative of not having a job and all depressing details. You have to look for higher thoughts that serve you and your quest for employment. When you get the urge to be negative do jumping jacks or anything to shirk the negativity and shift towards a positive thought. Positive attracts positive. Never give up. Thank you for the support.
