My job problem
I work for a company over 2 years just this mouth, my son get sick and at that I am at work so I get a message from the the daycare Where I live my son that he is very very sick so I have to tell my Mager that my son is sick I have to go and take him to the Emergency room and she said I can go, I too my son to the Emergency room we stay there for weeks so the Mager told me that I should call out everyday which I did when I we come out from the hospital the doctor said I should stay with my son at home for him to get better I stay home for 3 days I call out every day and what happened the next day I get a call for my Mager she said I should not go to work anymore I ask her why she said because I stay home for more than one week so they don't need me anymore, that how I lost the job and I don't have a job.
Mamie, I'm so sorry that happened to you! In the future, if you have another family emergency, make sure you get everything in writing so you have a paper trail to back you up. In the meantime, it sounds like you need to move on from such a toxic employer. Make sure you file for unemployment and start your job search right away. What kind of job are you looking for?
