Correct! And, those jobs will never return. Those robots will repair themselves and even create the parts to replace the worn out parts. Robots do NOT need humans due to internet access. So, humans may just become redundant and may become extinct. Even space travel does not, and cannot, use humans or even any biomass. So, folks, you are building your replacements!

I think with some jobs it just makes sense to automate the process for example where there may be safety concerns, but in my opinion, there are many others where it shouldn't! For example, self check out. I enjoy going through it sometimes, but there is something about an experience at a store that makes it more comfortable and personalized. I wouldn't want tech to replace people in every job that we do. Steven Ransom
