Out-of-State Job Hunt
I am currently searching for biotech/pharma opportunities in some of the biotech 'hotbeds' of Boston, San Diego, San Fran, Seattle, etc. but unfortunately reside in South Carolina. Would love to hear advice from anyone that has successfully found an out-of-state job!

Hi Robert: Boston's definitely a great place for the biotech field (not biased here or anything :) ) I've done an out-of-state job hunt before, and my greatest piece of advice is to test out how your resume performs if you remove your address. A lot of times, resumes get rejected by employers for not being from local applicants, even though you intend on moving once you get the job. I don't think this will be a huge problem with biotech companies (they hire all around the world), but it couldn't hurt!
