Well, besides having the correct driver license for the job description, you should have a clean driver record as well. Even though most places that hire delivery drivers will get your driver record through DMV, you should get online and order yourself a copy. Two actually. One for you to keep, and the other you will present to the company, along with your resume, if you get an interview. Very important. They only run like $3 for the basic report, and that's all that the company will request. Also, have a good familiarity with the roadways, interstates, and inner city alleyways that your prospective new job will be covering. And when you are describing your past jobs, etc., ALWAYS throw in the mix that you operated vehicles SAFELY AND TIMELY. Cuz all management in all trades just love hearing the SAFETY word. Lastly, whatever it is you will be delivering, have a good understanding of what it is that the job is delivering. And be early for interview. On time equals late. Always know that...Good luck and get it done!! CHEERS

Before applying to a Delivery Driver job, you should have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and knowledge of local traffic laws. It's also important to be physically fit and able to lift packages. Make sure to research the company's delivery policies and customer service expectations. For job listings, check out Jobcase, Indeed, Glassdoor, and other job search providers. Good luck with your job search!
