I have a panel interview for a Sales position next week. Does anyone have any experience panel interviewing? Helpful tips welcome!

Hi Collin,

I have been part of my share of panel interviews. They are some of the most difficult because it is really hard to read and connect with each person. I recommend focusing on the person who is asking the interview question. Listen to them intently, look them in the eye and then move from person to person making eye contact as you answer the question so you address each person in the room.

Make sure to acknowledge everyone and shake their hands when you leave the room. Thank them personally.

Often times I find that a panel interview happens with a group of managers who will responsible or will interact with you while you work or it is a group of peers who are part of the hiring process that will be working with you every single day.

Good luck in your interview!

Jessica

Wow, I don't think I am familiar with that sort of interview. Hopefully we have some Jobcasers with some great advice for you!
