Disappointed
I wasn't at Toys R Us as long as I am sure some people here were, but I shopped there for my children like many of us had. Then eventually I went to work there. Toys R Us helped me by offering me part time flexible hours. My kids are still young and now it will be hard to find a job that will support my needs. I am worried because they have closed. I really loved my co-workers too....just pretty disappointed but businesses close what can you do?

Sometimes working can easy or hard I know it had to be easy. Their Remore jobs like that

You know they're in big debt. Going down. I worked for Montgomery wards years ago. 4/10 a week, office, great benefits, awesome job. They went out of business. ( Sucked) Got a great paying job at FedEx. Good pay just had to work super hard. Everything comes to an end eventually!! ☹️. Sadly.

It will be okay. Be positive and hopeful. There will be many more job opportunities that will help you out the same way.

Hello Janet, Sorry to hear about your loss, a job is more than a place you go to everyday. Perhaps you can reach out to the local library or the local department of labor they can assist you in obtaining another position.

You sound like a lively person and I'm sure if you like the retail part if working you should be able to go any where with your knowledge and personality... Keep your chin up be confident and as all ways blessed

Keep your prayers up and stay hopeful. God always has a better plan for us in life than our current situations. Look at your current situation as a stepping stone into a better paying job and a better lifestyle for you and your family.

I'm sorry. I know its hard, not only did you find yourself unemployed but you're forced into change you didn't choose. 2 years ago I went through the same thing. I worked at a small business for 8 years with the same 3 employees, we had become friends of a sort and always covered for each other during family emergencys or just if we had something we'd like to do on our workday. When the business closed I thought I'd end up with a job I didn't enjoy. It took me over a year to find someplace willing to take a chance and hire a 62 year old woman so I couldn't be picky and really didn't think I'd like working here but a year later, here I am loving my job with superiors who value me and co-workers I like and enjoy occasional socializing with. I'm not trying to make this about me but show you that its possible you will find something you'll like even more. I never thought I'd have another job where I felt appreciated but I don't think I've ever been valued and appreciated like I am here, my hourly wage is double what I started at, I make my own schedule and my paycheck comes with a thank you note. Hopefully your next job will show you it can get even better even when you felt like you had it as good as it could get.

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX...car? Deliver newspapers or whatever. Consider going to tech school for training in health field or security.
