Frustrated
So I got hired last Friday.. These people have not called me like they said they was going to tell me when to come in to start working.. I called yesterday a lady said she was going to call me today to let me know. No phone call!.. It's been hard finding a job. I really need this job and these people are messing with me.. I don't know what to do.. I'm losing my patience do they not want me to work???
Don't put your hopes in that on job keep searching there is a job out there for you
I would tell them , if they call, " I've found another position." I do not like this behavior. Clear communication is essential.
Main thing is not to panic and if this was a test of your patience or skill to problem solve would you pass? Something to think about.
Call back and reafirm your start date
Those that exhibit this type of behavior are not trustworthy. To be hired by a company that is has no moral sound work ethic in the hiring of a person is not where you should be.
Myisha, It sounds like in this company, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Just show up for work and say you forgot to write down the name of the person who called that you were hired. You have nothing to lose.Just see what happens.Good luck and God bless!

I would be concerned too but hopefully you haven't stopped your job search. At least now you know that you do have some quailities that employers are looking for. Now its time to lean on your faith more than ever. Trust in God and know that if he takes care of the birds in the sky surely he will bless your efforts.
